Iowa Workforce Development is seeking applicants for the position of Chief Financial Officer. This position is responsible for the development and oversight of 60+ expense budgets annually, with total budgeted expenses approaching $300 million.

The CFO oversees the Finance Department and is responsible for a variety of tasks and duties, including, but not limited to:

• Serving as part of the Senior Leadership.
• Oversee all Department budget and financial transactions to ensure compliance with gov’t accounting standards.
• Analyze proposed legislation and policy revisions.
• Review and make final determination of standards and procedures for more efficient budget and accounting administration.
