WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS BUSINESS MANAGER OPPORTUNITY?
- Direct Hire
- Onsite a few days a week – MUST BE LOCAL TO DES MOINES, IA!
- 40 hours a week – flexibility as needed
- $74,000 depending on experience
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE BUSINESS MANAGER?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred (will consider relevant experience)
- CPA highly preferred- but not required
- 3 + years of accounting experience required – financial statements, reporting, reconciliation, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Great presentation and organizational skills
- Nonprofit industry experience preferred but not required
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE? As the Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats within the organization. You will manage financials, work with vendors, and manage the office.
AS THE BUSINESS MANAGER, WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Financial statement preparation
- Financial reporting to the Board
- Account reconciliations
- Manage internal and external donations
- Complete 1099s
- Ensure the office is running smoothly and maintain office supplies and equipment as needed
