Staff Accountant

Our accounting office here in Storm Lake is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in providing quality financial services to our clients.  Responsibilities for this position would include performing monthly accounting for various businesses, payroll processing, general ledger account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, preparation of financial statements, tax returns of all types, and assist with performance of audits and reviews on financial accounts.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Strong communicator with team members and clients • Analytical and critical thinker • Good time management and organization skills • Strong attention to detail • Strong computer skills • Self-motivated • Desire to pursue the CPA licensure is encouraged, but not required
