Kirsten specializes in estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession, charitable planning, probate, planned giving, and trust & estate litigation. She helps individuals and families develop individualized estate plans to ensure smooth wealth transfers, effective tax strategies, and clarity during complex life transitions, serving as both trusted advisor and legal advocate. She joined BrownWinick after practicing in the Trust, Estate & Charitable Planning group at Gray Plant Mooty in Minnesota. Kirsten earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2016. She has been recognized for her legal practice by Best Lawyers - Ones to Watch and the Chambers High Net Worth Guide.

Michelle Hutson, Senior Financial Analyst, BCC Advisers
Michelle provides business valuations for closely held companies in a variety of industries, for purposes including ESOP’s, mergers/acquisitions, SBA 7(a) loans, estate taxes, buy/sell agreements, intra-family transfers/gifting, charitable donations, and management decision-making. Prior to joining BCC in 2017, Michelle completed internships with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Principal Financial Group, and Rockwell Collins.
