Grab a bite and make the most of your lunch break. Lunch with Leaders is a 90 minute session offering life, community and career advice from professionals who are leaders in Iowa's business community. Hosted by ISCPA's young professionals LEAP Committee. Open to all members at discounted cost. Nonmembers attend at regular cost. Includes lunch and one hour non-technical CPE credit.

In this session, Alan will explore the value of moving past role power and into relationship power – the kind of power that actually works. Relationship power doesn’t lower the standards, but finds a more cooperative approach and engages mutual respect within your team.

Alan Feirer is a leadership trainer, Everything DiSC® Authorized Partner, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ Authorized Partner, organizational development consultant, and author of The Group Dynamic Field Guide: 51 Ideas Leaders Can Use Today, and the Group Dynamic Field Guide for Youth, with foreword by Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser. Alan helps people embrace challenging work and have less stress while getting more done since 1998 through his work with Group Dynamic. He works with managers, directors, leadership teams, staffs, and team members through leadership training, team-building, and communication training
Alan lives in Winterset. He holds membership in many professional organizations, including Optimists, Madison County Area Chamber of Commerce, the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, and the Association for Talent Development where he served as a Central Iowa chapter President.
