WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — David Koch was presented with the Iowa CPAs Month of Service Individual Community Impact Award during the 2020 Annual Meeting on May 1.
The Individual Community Impact Award recognizes a person for outstanding dedication to community by positively impacting the lives of a specific population segment or group in need through participation in the Iowa CPAs Month of Service event held annually in September. The Iowa CPAs Month of Service event promotes community service across the state by ISCPA members and within the profession.
Dave is president of Koch & Lipkea in Cedar Rapids and has been a member of ISCPA since 1976. Dave commented, “I have always tried to live by the motto that it is more blessed to give than to receive. God has blessed me with many gifts. I want to use those gifts to make a difference by helping those in need. Many hands working together make the world a better place.”
