Karen A. Gries is currently the principal with Karen A. Gries CPA Consulting. She consults with tax exempt organization on various tax, accounting and operational matters. Similar to her time in public accounting, much of her practice area has expanded beyond tax compliance to focus on risk management and operational efficiencies to allow tax exempt organizations to focus on mission and less on day-to-day compliance. She also serves as a financial consultant and project manager for a large private foundation in Milwaukee, WI.
