EQ (or emotional intelligence) is defined as the ability to understand, manage and effectively express your own feelings and navigate through the spoken and unspoken responses of those around you. Having a high EQ will overcome intelligence and even a lack of education. While IQ and personality remain fairly stable, EQ can be improved through education, understanding, behavioral adjustment and practice.

Liz will walk attendees through the EQ fundamentals, including:

  • The five competencies in the Emotional Competency Framework.
  • How to quickly identify the EQ of those around you and determine a course of action.
  • How to communicate the connection between EQ and performance.
  • How to reduce negative emotion, stay cool and manage stress, remain proactive and bounce back from adversity.
  • Easy-to-apply strategies to reduce stress.

Speaker: Liz Nead | Nead Inspirations
