Branding yourself may seem awkward and self-seeking but in today’s market, personal branding has become an important part of career success. Developing your story, learning to utilize social media (the horrors!), and establishing your unique expertise will not only increase your viability and attract exciting opportunities, but help you raise your value to your organization.

As we build professional proficiency, the value of content expertise, personal energy and drive is evident. As we grow personal capability, the value of influencing others and gaining buy-in is also evident. What is less evident, however, is what this know-how looks like in a collaborative environment and the way in which this know-how can be developed. This session will provide a process, learned from the presenter’s failures and successes, to work the circuit and garner acceptance of ideas and plans.
