ISCPA Affinity/Member Buying Programs
 

The ISCPA and CCH have joined together to offer an incredible new member benefit that provides a 30% discount to all members on more than 175 CCH tax and accounting books including U.S. Master Tax Guide, U.S. Master Depreciation Guide, Internal Revenue Code, Income Tax Regulations, State Tax Handbook, and Miller Guides. Credit card processing Member firms and Iowa businesses where members are owners (or a majority of) are eligible to participate in a credit card processing program with Des Moines-based Member Service Group. Employee assistance The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) helps employees and firms or companies resolve problems that get in the way of productivity. The EAP offers confidential, in-person, short-term counseling, unlimited 24-hour access by phone, and other services. Members are eligible for association rates. Outside of Polk County the rate is $20.00 per employee per year (usual flat rate is $1,435.50 per year for fewer than 25 employees). Within Polk County, the association rate is $12.00 per employee per year due to special funding. In addition, the one-time $25.00 administrative fee will be waived for members. Express delivery program The UPS association program offers members $1.50 off any letters you or your company send via UPS Next Day Air, as well as 10% off the regular rate of any UPS Next Day Air packages or UPS 2nd Day Air a.m. letters or packages. UPS Worldwide Express letters or packages originating from the U.S. will receive 20% off. There are no enrollment fees or contracts to sign, and no minimum obligations to ship. Print and submit the UPS sign-up sheet to start saving on express delivery shipping.

HR consulting HR-OneSource (www.hr-onesource.com) works with all types of employers, but is specifically geared to address the needs of small and mid-sized employers. Members receive a 12% discount on products and services. Subscriptions to products are annual, and a subscription to the HR library is a prerequisite to accessing others. Profit recovery/collection services special rate Transworld Systems, Inc., (TSI) will charge members a flat fee of $14.00 or less per account. The cost to the general public is $15.00 or less per account. If your firm or company has accounts receivable or cash flow concerns (past due accounts, NSF checks, etc.), you may find the services of TSI useful.
