CPE Via Satellite and Webcast

ISCPA along with a network of state CPA societies and the Accounting Continuing Professional Education Network (ACPEN) offer CPE via satellite in several locations throughout the state.  The satellite broadcasts are also available via Webcast.

Satellite Webcasts
The Webcast offers live, group study CPE credit when viewed on your computer during the original broadcast or during a live rebroadcast. Registration for the Webcasts is available only online at http://iacpa.acpen.com/. Upon registration, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with technical requirements and help-line information to assist participants during the program. Your credit card statement will reflect a transaction from Biz Vision.

Participants may ask questions during the program via telephone or e-mail. Participants will be able to download the written materials in advance of the program. Attendance is verified when viewers submit four parts of a code revealed at random times during each quarter of the broadcast. A CPE certificate, documenting the appropriate number of credit hours earned, will be provided by Business Professionals Network, Inc., the Webcast sponsor.

Satellite Broadcast Locations
The monthly CPE program will be broadcast to several locations throughout Iowa (see course description for scheduled locations). The broadcast locations are as follows:

• A detailed course description will become available approximately two months prior to the broadcast.

• Broadcasts begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. for 8-hour programs.

• Meals and refreshments are not included in the registration fee and may not be available at the broadcast location.

• ISCPA policies regarding registration for CPE courses apply to ACPEN courses.
