Volunteer opportunity for Des Moines and SW Iowa CPAs

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines seeks volunteers to assist the Diocesan Finance Department in the performance of internal reviews for 81 parishes and 16 schools in Des Moines and southwest Iowa. The reviews are not intended to be audits, but rather a verification and testing of internal controls and the performance of limited substantive test work resulting in a report of recommendations. Revised AICPA Code Adopted

The Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC) has adopted a revised AICPA Code of Professional Conduct (AICPA Code).The revised Code will be effective Dec. 15, 2014. The new conceptual frameworks and related interpretations however, will not be effective until Dec. 15, 2015. Learn more.
